What is Guided Implant Surgery?

In the most cases, we recommend doing the implant procedures in a guided way. It is a modern procedure allowing placing the implant in the exact right position of the bone. This ensures the best longevity, function and aesthetics.

How does it work?

In the beginning a 3D scan and a 3D xray (CBCT) of your jaw is taken. Then a digital surgery is performed on the computer. Once the correct position is defined, an implant guide is 3D printed and brought to the surgery. The guide will then be placed in your mouth and the implant is placed accordingly. This procedure can also be well combined with immediate implant placement. This technique allows us to place the crown in the same session when the implant is installed.

At Amaryllis Dental Clinic we offer all dental oral surgery procedures. However, for some treatments we collaborate with external specialists. In both cases, you can rest assured that we will coordinate the treatment, so that we can ensure a smooth procedure.
